Die My Will (90s hardcore from CT)
So I recently stumbled upon this band and I am so happy I did. Who knows about them? I'm looking around for purchaseables but am not coming up with much.

Awesome band. AJ blogged posted their discography over at Path To Misery if you haven't come across that post yet: http://pathtomisery.blogspot.com/2009/03/die-my-will-discography.html
Anyways, I'm not getting rid of any of my Die My Will records or the t-shirt I have of em. Sorry.

I MIGHT be willing to part with a backup copy I have of their self-titled CD. Hit me up at pathtomisery@gmail.com

Yeah this stuff is right up my alley. Very metal in a Disembodied and early 18V style, but with a huge holy terror vibe going on too. The S/T record is great, especially the last song "Man's Cry." The Piecemeal split is just raging. Heavy as shit.

Please don't mention Die My Will and Holy Terror anywhere near each other. Die My Will is one of the few bands of all hardcore history to be gimmick-free. I mean, I'm down with gimmicks, but am even moreso down without gimmicks.

I didn't mean that they were gimmicky, more that I hear some Integrity and Ringworm in their musical style.

Also: Do you think Holy Terror bands are gimmicky? I consider it to be mostly just a style of hardcore. I mean, I suppose Dwid and Integrity have that occult inspired religion that he made up, but I never felt like that was an overbearing element of the band.

I don't hear it at all, but what do I know?
I like Integrity. I also like Ringworm. It just so happens that they shared drummers and guitarists for a while and hence, the similar style. I don't know if I'd really consider it a genre as much as I would a bunch of dork ass bands just worshiping Integrity and turning something genuinely kinda cool into a stupid gimmick to label themselves as.
