kill the slavemaster.
who and what is this? i have what i believe is a demo on cd. i also have the same four or five songs in mp3 form and it's tagged as self-titled. one person told me it was chad gilbert? another said they were from chicago? i was reminded by this because i saw pics of them while lurking one of jav's blogs. someone please educate me. i've loved this band for years and can't find anything about them. i've honestly googled them probably every three months for like six plus years.

Andy Hurley went on to drum for Fall Out Boy and they were from Wisconsin I believe, maybe Chicago. They just did a reunion show within the last year or 2 out in Racine I think. Yeah, good band.

Love love love that MCD. Incredible stuff. Have a VHS tape somewhere of a 'Hugs & Chugs fest' (or something similar) with a bunch of KTSM live stuff on it. Unfortunately no way to transfer it to PC at the moment.
Re: kill the slavemaster.
ah. i dude from fall out boy, not nfg. that makes sense. so i guess the few songs i have are everything they released. DAMN. thanks, dudes! i've seriously been waiting a long time for these answers.
Re: kill the slavemaster.
There is at least one unreleased track. I talked to one of the KTSM guys a couple of years ago, and he said that they were supposed to be on a Catalyst Records compilation that never saw the light of day. According to him, Kurt was going to axe them from the comp anyways, because he found out that one of the KTSM guys was some sort of survivalist and would kill an animal if it meant he could eat in the wild. He went on to say that Kurt has also been holding the master DAT tape hostage ever since. There was also a larger connection to Racetraitor members wise.

Andy also played in Racetraitor

Yap, there is a link on Path To Misery blog for unreleased song and EP also, but unfortunately, it's not working, so I will re-uploaded it.

It's also strange that some live stuff from KTSM is taken down from youtube (stuff xemonerdx is mentioning) + myspace page doesn't exist anymore???
demo version of song Cenobite Of The Abattoir here

Their myspace account is still functional + there's a rumour about possible split with Peregrine as a benefit for the Hadza, a society of gatherer/hunters living in Tanzania.

Re: kill the slavemaster.
that myspace says "member since 9.18.2008" so that's fairly new considering the bands existence and neither of those songs are kill the slavemaster.
Re: kill the slavemaster.
I fixed my blog post. Didn't realize the link was taken down.
Anyhow, the one track on their MySpace is a sample of the new material they may or may not be working on.
But yeah, my link is fixed on the blog so you can download that demo version. It is not THE version that Kurt Catalyst has ... this has an original vocalist and scratch guitars that were both re-done for the comp track which is never to been heard again apparently.
