Devilinside...

...Kiss The Cynic. always makes me wanna destroy everything. short lived but they where awesome. i liked prelude and volume one a lot. volume one was kinda weird tho.. a lot of short instrumental tracks it made me think they where trying to define themselves or something.

devilinside was definitely good. nothing like disembodied, but that's how i felt about martyr ad, too.

I got the Devilinside 2001/ 2002 Demo with Arron doin vox. It's only 3 songs but it's the best thing they did in my opinion. The songs almost sound like they could've been out takes from the "If God Only Knew..." record. It was on their hxcmp3/mp3.com profile back in 01 or 02. I've had it stored on my external until this post got me thinking about it.

I almost feel Devil Inside was a little better than Martyr Ad..although the M.AD 2002 demo and the human condition.. record kill it...mm I think I just changed my mind. M.AD was way brutal..the seven sample on loop before than chaos kicked in..people went nuts live. Yeah..as far as both bands debut's go Prelude was good but I think M.AD - Human Condition takes it...now if Arron did the vox on Prelude it would be a different story..

I was gonna upload the 2002 demo to my mediafire and suggest that Chip up it on the xSITPx blog, but it's up for download at xPath to Miseryx already. Go check it out.

Devilinside was every bit as good as Martyr AD in my eyes.

no offence to jaime because that dude was so awesome i remember he'd send me clips and demos from Volume One the second they where completed but man if aaron stayed with the band it would have been so much more awesome. anyway.. the funny thing is that Volume One was an enhanced cd and i've had it since it was released back in 2004 and while ripping it today i noticed there was a "data" track" and thought.. wtf haha so here are the 2 videos from the cd for anyone interested.

i thought devilinside was mostly decent.

never could get into martyr ad. just... always hated the vocals, iirc.
