Yeah, always down. Their best material came out in the 2000s though.

Their ep was my favorite however The Misery Index is scrumtrulessent.

sorry, after the eulogy was the only REALLY good record they did. the emo crap that came before that is almost unlistenable to me, and the stuff they did when they were major label bound is almost boring. tomorrow come today had some shining moments, but it was too late.

Agreed that a lot of the older material was "boring". I find it hard to get through any of their Initial or whatever full lengths. The gem or two from each album that made its way into the live set towards the end were perfect, however.
You need to listen to their final full length on Equal Vision. It's perfect.

eulgogy was the only album i could really hang with. but it was pretty out standing.
i saw them with grade in seattle around 99 or so. i remember it being one of the best shows of the year, even though everything grade released after under the radar was a total turd, both bsf, and grade put on amazing sets.
if my memory serves me correctly, bane MIGHT Have been on that show as well. but im old, so i could be merging shows together in my mush of a brain.

I was a big fan of most everything they did. His vocals, at first, took a bit to get used to, but then I realized how amazing they were both lyrically and emotionally. They stood by what they spoke and played with true intense emotions.
Are they up to anything new? Last I heard, they broke up due to an unfortunate accident.

they put out a full length at the beginning of the year and have had a few line up changes. they just lost their bass player yesterday and are supposed to be on tour like NOW. they had a myspace post about needing a bass player for tour and new record...

I never understood the love of this band. Saw them a few times and they didn't do it for me live either.

I love The Casting Out and kinda wish I could go play bass for them right now. Full length is pop perfection.

if i lived closer to DE then i would try out in a second... but then i would have to quit my job for a bit...and bills can't pay themselves!
