i thought one truth was fairly good, but at the same time i was only about fourteen. other than that i never really got that in to strife.

i actually always thought they were incredibly over-rated. i thought one truth was ok (had some good songs on there... and some bad), their grey 7" was a solid 2 songs (ha) which led to utter disappointment with their next cd (can't remember the name, don't care to look). and it went down farther from there.

add 15 years and a lifeless practice without the vocalist, and you have one amazing youtube video.


although, it never fails that the first thing to come to mind when i hear their name are tad's $trife shirts. hahaha. fuck. i miss the 90s.

I used to be a huge Strife fan. I was stoked on their records right up thru In This Defiance. After that, they went to shit.

This practice session.....they look like they all wish they were somewhere else. Sad really. Rick Rodney was probably out front smoking a cigarette and having a couple beers!!! He sold out SXE big time. Went back on everything he ever said, wrote and shouted into the mic.
