Yes, I'm aware the recordings are sloppy. They're fucking punks. The sincerity and passion are captured in the recordings, and that's all that matters.

Auryn

I'm curious to hear some opinions. They're not trying in the slightest to go to for some sort of "90s sound" ... but they definitely kind of have it. Kind of remind me of a primitive Undying at times. There are also moments of screamo and crust punk influence ... definitely have found their own style.

While you're at it, check out Peregrine ... a band that Auryn put out a benefit split CD with on Fuck City Records (Andy Hurley from Fall Out Boy's label). Sort-of Day Of Suffering influenced, but way more progressed on the metal spectrum ... black metal specifically. They are Auryn's first friend on their MySpace page. They'll be playing the Day Of Suffering reunion if anyone is planning on going.
