Florida people (Specifically Ft. Lauderdale), please point me to things of interest.

So my friend is taking a road trip to Florida this coming weekend for a wedding and asked me to come along. The only places I've been in Florida are the damn amusement parks, so due to that and to me finding out about this yesterday, we're kind of playing it all by ear.
I don't know if anyone on here is around there or familiar with the area, but if you know of shows, record stores, vegetarian restaurants, or just cool stuff, please share....or if you can make Morning Again do a reunion or Poison the well play old songs in a tiny place, let me know.

Go to Sublime for dinner. It's at 1431 North Federal Highway in Ft. Lauderdale. Excellant vegan food. There's also plenty of scuba diving. That's all I know about Ft. Lauderdale, I live in Miami. Hope you have a good trip.

I back up the Sublime suggestion. Also, go to the beach, everglades (or Everglades Outpost if you have transportation), and Hard Rock Casino. Sara's is also an option for food. They make good food but always give awkward service. www.saraskosherrestaurant.com
