RAID is playing July 31st in Memphis.

RAID (the first vegan eco SXE band) are reuniting for one show only on July 31st, 2010 in Memphis, TN. Check 'em out!

...and the reason is? far from following hardline principles anymore.

Raid existed before Hardline and while the band is no longer SXE, they still believe in some of the old lyrics. The show is for fun, not to preach to people. Many of the old crew is still veg or vegan, while others are not.

now, get GREEN RAGE to play, and i might fly across the country just to clear up whether or not the guitar player really had one arm.

Nothing to be sorry about. Where exactly did Green Rage or even Earth Crisis get their inspiration? Obviously the first Hardline releases, in particular Raid, must have influenced them. Raid had lyrics and ideas that both bands snaked from. Check out the Raid song Blood Green recorded in 1990. Both bands were biting what came several years before them. That's okay, since everything is derivative, but please recognize!

Earth Crisis and Vegan Reich...Don't be upset because people liked some other sub-par bands preaching silly non-sense more than your band doing the same. Who cares who came first, when someone else does it better. However, as far as I am concerned, this is like comparing who has the least smelly shit.

I go by Blasphemour because that was the short lived label I did in the 80s.
