NEW RELEASES

Releases shipping:

Noose- Its Your Time EP’s are now shipping and should be showing up
in your mailbox any day. We’re really happy with how these turned
out, but please note that the plant screwed up a bit and pressed 200
the red vinyl and 300 of the blue vinyl rather than the other way
around. So, the pressing now goes 200 on red, 300 on blue, 500 on
black.
This record is very close to being sold out, so if you don’t
have a copy then pop by our store and grab one now!

The Get the Most and Clearsight records are on their way to us now
and will be shipping in the first two weeks of May. Sorry about the
massive delay on these, there was just issues at every step. But, the
end result is sure to be awesome and well worth the wait!

Praise covers are in, and we’re just waiting on the vinyl. As soon
as they hit our doorstep they be shipping. Thanks!!

New Pre-Orders:

Pre-orders for the Skin Like Iron- Arrival LP and the Rearranged- s/t
EP will begin on Monday May 23rd at 9am Pacific. We will have new
merch for both bands as well as some great package deals available.
Both releases will include a digital download card as well as all the
great stuff that we always include in our releases.

Here’s some more information on these releases:

Skin Like Iron- Arrival LP
RXR-022

Skin Like Iron’s new LP, “Arrival” features 10 songs that are
mournful, somber and eerily melodic. Fusing an eclectic mixture of
influences from Wolfbrigade to Black Flag, Siege, and even The Pixies
and The Cure, this album succeeds in accurately portraying Skin Like
Iron’s unique take on hardcore music. Huge guitar riffs combine with
powerful basslines and pounding rhythms to form dramatic compositions
that are saturated with melody and atmosphere. The music is supported
by lyrics that search for hope and reason, while questioning the
damages human beings visit upon one another. Each song is an attempt
to reconcile the way in which life’s fleeting moments of beauty are
tempered by depression and failure. “Arrival” is a record about
duality: Hope and hopelessness. Beauty and ugliness. Virtue versus the
failings of human nature.

“Arrival” was recorded at The Atomic Garden with Jack Shirley, and is
the band’s most ambitious production to date. The album artwork was
produced by guitarist/vocalist, Alex Capasso, and continues the visual
theme of the band’s two previous 12″ albums.

The pressing info for this record is 200 on red vinyl, 300 on yellow
vinyl, and 500 on black vinyl. You can check out the two songs
“Consequences” and “Legions” from the new EP at the band’s
bandcamp page and also get the latest news from the band at their
Facebook page.

Rearranged- s/t EP
RXR-023

The debut EP on REACT! Records of Moscow’s powerhouse Rearranged
picks up right where they left off on their previous release, always
showcasing the band’s musical and lyrical growth. Drawing influences
from classic DC and Orange County-based acts, the follow up of their
full-length ‘New Forms’ delivers five brand new songs of speedy and
intense hardcore punk that sometime resemble Minor Threat and Insted,
yet managing to attain a character all its own.

Recorded and engineered by Mikhail Gabolaev at PravdaPro Studio in
March and mixed by Gustav Brunn at Studio Bengt in Lund, this release
proves to be the bands most mature and cohesive work to date. Art
duties handled by Ulf Hammarkärr of The Effort fanzine fame.

The pressing info for this record is 200 on white vinyl, 300 on blue
vinyl, and 500 on black vinyl. You can check out the two songs
“Disengage Now” and “Drilling” from the new LP at the band’s
bandcamp page and also get the latest news from the band at their Facebook page.

THE REACT BLOG

There are two main places on the REACT! site for information, other
than the board, of course: the news page (which you’re reading), and the blog.

The news page is the best place to find out about new releases and
tours, but if you want to read interviews with the bands, or find our
favorite vegetarian recipes, then the blog is the place to be! Right
now there is a great interview up of Andy from Praise, as
interviewed by our friend Jimmie from Arkansas, who has been a huge
supporter of REACT! from the beginning.
(Fun fact: I met him through the REACT! message board!)

If you would like to interview one of our bands for the blog, please
email me at press@itstimetoreact.com

REACT! ON YOUTUBE

There are so many live videos of our bands playing all over the world
that I had a hard time keeping up. I thought I’d make a YouTube
account just to keep track, which worked quite well, and then had a
better thought: I should probably share this! So if you head to
YouTube.com/itstimetoreact you can see a bunch of videos from the
bands that we are continually updating. You can subscribe to our
channel, and get notified every time we add new videos too.

See a video (or ten) that we’re missing? Email me at
press@itstimetoreact.com and I’ll add it to the list!

And don’t forget the REACT! Showcase is coming Up Sept 23/24 in Berkeley, CA at Gilman St.
Hope you booked your flights!

A big thank you for everyone for reading this and helping us
support some amazing bands!
