Was there once a band called Refuse (not refuseD) from maybe upstate NY?

My friend and I are going nuts trying to remember this band. All they had was a 4 song 7 inch. They were around in early 90's. They were a fast hardcore band with some melodic parts. The only lyrics that stick out in my mind is a part where the music stops and the singer screams, "It tears up my fragile insides!" in a growling, kind of ray of today voice. This is all I remember. Hell, I don't even remember if they were called Refuse. Does any of this ring a bell?
